Pray for your kids

Catching Up - Part 3
Last week, Neely and I spent the week visiting my best friend from college, Marlana and her daughter, Hanya. This was Neely's 2nd trip on an airplane and once again it was a breeze. Here we are on the airplane. For some reason the planes were only about half full, so we always had an extra seat. This made it so much better.
We had a layover in the Chicago airport and they had a special area set up for kids. They had a whole bunch of things set up for kids to crawl on. This was great for Neely and for me too. She was able to tire herself out before we had to get on the plane again.
We went to the Louisville Zoo again this trip & Neely had a great time. It was exciting to see her actually realize that she was looking at animals. These are the pictures from when she was looking at the monkeys.

Catching Up - Part 1
Get ready, there are a bunch of pictures coming.
She went swinging at the Gosnell Park. Not 1 thing has changed in this park since I was a child.
We went to Blytheville and went to the park there. Here she is climbing up the jungle gym and trying to climb up the slide.
We had to leave at half time because Neely was exhausted. She fell asleep about 30 seconds in to the long walk back to the car.
Here is another one of her favorite things to do now. She climbs up on the fireplace and gets the rocks out and throws them on the ground. I know she knows what she's doing because she will crawl up the step, then turn around and give a big smile before she sticks her hand in to get the rocks. What a STINKER.
A couple weeks ago, Neely and I spent the week in Blytheville.
Let me tell you, there's not much to do there, but I think we did it all.
We went to That Bookstore in Blytheville and got Neely a couple of board books and Brad a Christmas present--a signed copy of one of his favorite author's book. I can post it on here because I couldn't keep it a secret.
When we got back from Blytheville, we took Neely to her 2nd Razorback game. This game was not as fun as the first. Neely prefers afternoon games. It was chilly so I bundled her up in her new red coat and toboggan. I couldn't figure out why the hat wouldn't stay on until I looked on the tag when we got home & it was size Newborn (up to 7 pounds). Ha!
Brad has been working on redoing the front landscaping. Neely is loving crawling up the dirt hills.
More to come including our trip to the Pumpkin Patch and our trip to Louisville.
