A few months ago, I was talking to my friend, Marlana, and we both decided that the only way we would ever consistently exercise or diet was if we would take pictures of ourselves and post them on the internet with our workout plan, so people could hold us accountable. Well that's a good theory, but I'm not quite ready for the world (or the 10 people that read this blog) to see by post-baby fat. What I am ready to do is to start a workout program again and post the details about what I did (or didn't do) and also what I am eating each day. So that all starts tomorrow. If there's not a post, please email me or comment me to remind me to get my tail in gear. (I will still continue to post adorable pictures of Neely!)
THE PROGRAM: P90X--google it ---Brad and I are both doing it.
Basically it's all about muscle confusion. It's a workout a day that focuses on a certain part of your body. It also includes a nutrition guide that I am going to try to follow. Basically we will be eating balanced meals but not stuffing ourselves silly. Unfortunately carbs are limited for the first couple of weeks.
I am super excited. My goal is to get back where I think I look good in a swimsuit. It is also to tone my midsection, hips, and thighs where I think all my fat goes. The one thing that I would really like to have are arms like Madonna's (random, I know.)
Let me give you one warning though...this could be a complete failure. The most consecutive days that I have ever worked out is 2.

Here is Neely before our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. You can't see her cute dress, but at least you can see her adorable face!
This is my favorite face. Here she is with her 2 favorite toys from Christmas. She loves her newborn Cabbage Patch Doll and she absolutely loves her "smart chair". If you have a 1 year old, this is the best toy. It is the perfect size & Neely can occupy herself for lots of time in it!
